Superyachts are at the top of every millionaire and billionaire’s shopping list.
From Beyonce and Jay-Z regularly chartering their $400 million superyacht at $3.5 million a week to Apple mastermind Steve Jobs designing his $120 million superyacht – famous faces are fans of the floating powerhouses.
However, this grand superyacht Project Anthos, was once something far less exciting – a container ship.
Working with Oceanco, yacht designer Mario Biferali has conjured up this awesome 150-meter superyacht.
Both are old hats at the task, with Oceanco stating itself that its ambition is to ‘respect, preserve, and renew existing yachts, giving them a new lease of life.’ You can’t argue with that.
What designs does the superyacht have?
Well, despite it being a superyacht, it actually has a rather minimalist design.
Even though it follows that particular look, it still has three decks and even VIP suites.
The ship can accommodate 54 members of crew – the captain gets their own cabin on the bridge deck of the ship, alongside a further 27 cabins – there really is so much room.
And if that wasn’t enough for you, it’s also family friendly with connected rooms and even a play room – so the kids can have their own quarters.
Have a helicopter? That’s no issue either

There’s a also whole helipad for you to land on, alongside sports courts, a swimming pool and a ‘social lounge’.
Plus it’s designed for people who have remote work and research to carry out – proving it’s functional as well as looking rather impressive.
It really does have everything.
After hearing all that, it’s hard to believe it was once a 10,630 gross tonnage container ship ,right?
If you had a spare was of cash would you drop it on this?
We certainly would that’s for sure.
