Throughout the years we have seen many supercars being transported across rivers on a boats — but it is quite unusual to see a red C8 Corvette taking a ride on a tiny wooden boat in Mexico.

A video showcasing this unusual feat has been making the rounds on the internet lately.

It’s just shocking to see a supercar being transported on a small wooden boat rather than a large ferry or transport ship.

So, how did a C8 Corvette get into a situation like this?

Whenever we see a car being transported similarly to this, it’s usually an Overlander or an off-road SUV, not a low-slung sports car.

So how did the red C8 Corvette get driven onto the boat?

Getting the car onto the boat might not have been easy because it would’ve required quite a long ramp.

Low-clearance sports cars need a long ramp as they can get a little stuck on steeper surfaces.

Similarly, a YouTuber once fixed a 700-horsepower Dodge Challenger Hellcat on a small metal platform and converted it into a boat.

But it is quite a feat to drive the red C8 Corvette onto one of these wooden boats.

Unusual situation

Another reason this situation is quite unusual is because these kinds of backwater areas don’t have the type of roads needed for such a supercar.

There aren’t sufficient bridges, roads, and other infrastructure to maintain the red C8 Corvette.

Where would one even drive the supercar in such a place?

It is also possible for the car to be used as a decoration inside a villa of a rich individual living in the countryside of Mexico.

The video was first uploaded on YouTube by Sebas Videography.

However, some questions still linger in our minds.

Where did the C8 Corvette come from?

What was is it doing in this part of rural Mexico?

It would be great to know the backstory behind this supercar and its owner.
