While everyone is aboard the train of the large mass-market cruise ship, Emerald Cruises just revealed a luxury superyacht.
The Emerald Kaia superyacht will only seat 128 passengers in a single journey.
But, one night on this luxury yacht costs almost three times more than a night on the world’s largest cruise ship.

So, what’s so special about this yacht?
It’s nothing like the Lamborghini yacht, but Emerald Cruises promises it is brimming with luxury.
The Kaia is the luxury cruise company’s third and biggest yacht yet.
Emerald added a bigger Sky Deck with a new Sky Lounge, where you can enjoy a luxurious open-air experience.
There’s also a new gym, dining venues, spa, and luxurious suites.
“Emerald Kaia, with its significant design and amenity enhancements, marks a pivotal expansion for our fleet,” Scenic Group Founder Glen Moroney said.
He added, “It builds on the strengths of Emerald Sakara and Emerald Azzurra, allowing us to offer unmatched superyacht experiences along the world’s most captivating coastlines.”
If you’re familiar with cruise ships — or yachts — you probably already know about the cruise line’s ships.
They are certainly much bigger than your average yachts, almost like a cruise ship.
But the Switzerland-based company likes to call them ‘yachts.’
Is it a cruise ship if it only houses 128 passengers?
But then again, is it even a yacht if it takes on 128 passengers?
It’s probably not that important- it’s like a cruise-ship-superyacht hybrid.
Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas – the world’s largest cruise ship – can accommodate 5,610 travelers.
And that’s not it — add 2,350 crew members to that number.
Moreover, a suite on the Icon of the Seas costs $250 per night.
However, a place in the Emerald Kaia superyacht will cost you $720 per night.
We all know living on a cruise ship is completely normal these days, for this one guy at least.
But would you consider making a luxury cruise-ship-yacht hybrid your home?
