There’s one thing better than owning a superyacht – owning a superyacht with a display room for your supercar.
Sounds like the stuff of dreams, but those dreams could actually become a reality.
There’s a new superyacht concept on the horizon that’s so well-appointed, there’s even room for a Ferrari on board.

We’ve seen some really cool boat designs as of late, like Lexus’ luxurious yacht, not to mention the $1 billion superyacht that comes with its own detachable airship.
But Gill Schmid Design’s new yacht idea is a futuristic hybrid vessel capable of going anywhere.
The New York firm’s latest concept is a 262-foot (80 meters) explorer superyacht that has global range and is tough enough to meet Ice Class specifications.
Featuring a steel Ice Class hull, with an aluminum superstructure, it’s coated by a mirror-glazed finish so not only can it sail through the harshest of waters, but it also blends into its surroundings when doing so.
According to Superyacht Times, it will be powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system, allowing it to reach areas only accessible to the most eco-friendly of vessels as well.
Although it is geared for adventure, the superyacht is well-suited for rest and relaxation, too.
Its interior features seven cabins, including a full-beam private owner’s suite with an outdoor deck.
All in all, the hybrid explorer can accommodate 14 guests and a crew of up to 25.
Those suites are complemented by multiple adaptable entertainment and relaxation spaces, including a library, bar, and cigar area.
However, the highlight of these has to be the fully enclosed tender garage which can be converted into a three-level party space.
On the outside – you guessed it – there’s a helipad, as well as a room for a gym including a basketball court, a spa, beauty facilities and – according to the renderings – a parking space.
What’s more, there’s also lounging areas front and aft, in addition to an outdoor jacuzzi, with the vessel also featuring a fully integrated A-frame crane to launch tender toys.
Speaking of which, the boat’s tender garage has room for a 39-ft limousine tender, two Triton submarines, four jet skis, and more.
Although the superyacht is just a concept at this stage, it’s expected to become a reality sooner than later as, in a press release, Gill Schmid Design said the boat will be built by Dörries Yachts in Germany.
