The $2.6 million hypercar is one of the fastest on the planet – and Floyd Mayweather once owned one.

The rarest car Floyd Mayweather has ever owned is the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

With an estimated net worth reportedly in the region of $450 million, whatever Floyd Mayweather wants he gets.

From a $50 million private jet that’s like a flying palace to a $1.4 million diamond-encrusted watch, he’s certainly not afraid to splash the cash.

He’s especially partial to dropping big money on vehicles, having built an incredible all-black supercar collection over the years.

Despite owning multiple Ferraris, Lambos and Rollers, Floyd Mayweather once owned a ride that tops them all.

The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is one of the fastest cars on the planet, reaching speeds of 400 km/h – or 248 mph.

With a 4.7-liter V8 under its hood, producing 1,018 horses and 781 lb-ft of torque, the hypercar can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.1 seconds.

And the most staggering fact – only two were ever made.

The story goes, when Koenigsegg decided to make the Trevita, the company developed a unique coated fiber solution.

It transformed the usually black carbon fibers the body is made of into “a sparkling, silvery white,” which “shines like millions of diamonds when the sun hits the car,” according to the Swedish hypercar manufacturer.

Apparently, the company was going to produce three of the light-colored model (“trevita” translates from Swedish to “three whites”), but they hit a roadblock.

Due to the complexity of turning the darker carbon into a silvery white, they elected to only build two and make the two that exist even more collectable.

The pair were painstakingly handcrafted in a fighter-jet hangar that Koenigsegg transformed into the company’s headquarters.

In the end, only one Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita model made it to the US.

That vehicle had its home in the garage of “Pretty Boy” Floyd himself.

That was until the former professional boxer decided to part ways with the hypercar.

In 2017, the impressive ride rolled onto the auction block in Monterey, California.

The knockout whip sold to the highest bidder for a cool $2.6 million.
