Hennessey’s MAMMOTH TRX truck just got even cooler

If you thought Hennessey’s MAMMOTH TRX pickup truck couldn’t get any better, it just did.

The Texas-based high-performance vehicle creator has introduced an overlanding upgrade for its MAMMOTH 1000 TRX truck.

It may already be the world’s fastest and most powerful pickup, but it can now go even further off the beaten track.

Talk about knocking it out of the park.

Imagine 1,012-horsepower of 4×4 go-anywhere performance combined with everything you could need to be comfortable in the remote backwoods.

Sounds like awesome fun doesn’t it?

Hennessey’s put a lot of thought into the ‘Overland Edition’ expanding the 4×4’s capability.

To start with, there’s a wide range of user-friendly equipment for truck-based living.

A modular system utilizes a robust TRX bed rack as its foundation.

That’s topped by a hard-shell rooftop tent that takes minutes to set up.

Then there’s a retractable 55-inch awning to provide shade and shelter.

Add to that auxiliary fuel tanks and a pressurized water reservoir mounted on the rack increasing range and utility.

Grab handles and retractable ladder improve accessibility to the tent and equipment.

As if that’s not enough, other accessories include a 28-inch splitting axe, shovel, and LED perimeter illumination.

The upgrade can be added to any MAMMOTH build, including the MAMMOTH 900, for $19,950.

For the vast majority, the MAMMOTH TRX is enough to handle, but if your adventurous side demands extra thrills, there’s always the Overland Edition.
