Elon Musk doesn’t do flashy.
The wealthiest man in the world hates luxury yachts and sprawling mansions.
His own home is modest, with only two bedrooms, but there’s one area where he likes to splash out.

When it comes to private jets, Elon Musk spends big.
In fact, he has the same taste in planes as Jeff Bezos and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ie, the third richest man on earth and the highest-paid athlete in the world.
So naturally the plane they all own is outrageously luxurious.
Bezos, Musk and Ronaldo have all bought a Gulfstream G650ER.
This model holds the record for the farthest and fastest flight in business aviation history.
And, according to Gulfstream, holds at least 125 other world speed records.
The aircraft company has done everything it can to make the journey in a G650ER like going on a holiday in itself.
Fresh air is pumped through the cabin every 2 minutes.
The 16 panoramic windows are the largest in the industry, letting in ample natural light.
The seats are spacious and hand-crafted using top-quality leather.
And with such a roomy layout there are no arguments about legroom on board this plane.
Buyers can customize the interior to their liking.
Typically there is a forward galley with four living areas.
Some of the living areas have desks for working in the sky, while the others are kitted out with couches and TVs.
In the galley, there is an oven, microwave and a drinks station.
The interior decor features a neutral palette of light leather mixed with dark wood.
This can all be changed though.
For example, when Kim Kardashian modded hers she covered everything in cashmere.
There are even ashtrays on board, because the rules don’t apply when you’re on your own private jet.
There is space for 19 guests and the jet can sleep 10 people.
This much luxury comes with a hefty price tag.
Musk paid $78 million for his.
And the costs don’t stop there because every hour costs $3,662 worth of fuel.
