Lewis Hamilton enjoys driving fast cars both on and off the race track and the car he drove in his latest Instagram video is one of the fastest and most exciting out there.

The 39-year-old F1 champion put together a music video-style Instagram reel at the wheel of a Nissan GT-R R34.

The video is quite nice to watch, and the car is amazing.

The seven-time F1 world champion, who’s set to leave Mercedes to join Ferrari at the end of this season, has a large collection of supercars.

He also travels a lot, so videos like this one often appear on his Instagram.

Based on what he posts, we know that he keeps most of his rare cars in California, where he owns property, and where he’s often spotted driving rare hypercars such as the LaFerrari.

In the latest video, filmed in Tokyo by video maker 13thwitness, he’s seen driving a car that’s becoming increasingly more expensive and rare, the Nissan GT-R R34 – the Fast & Furious one, to be clear.

He’s actually done it before.

A few years ago, Hamilton posted a similar video, which was also filmed in Tokyo, at the wheel of a white Nissan GT-R.

It’s unclear whether he actually owns the Nissan or he just rented, which is what he did last time, but either way, he can afford it.

Hamilton is one of the world’s highest-paid athletes.

According to Forbes, Hamilton made around $65 million last year, between his Mercedes-AMG F1 salary and various endorsement deal.

This number is likely to go up next here.

Hamilton is expected to earn a whopping $50 million per year at Scuderia Ferrari, which will also open even more doors for endorsement deals.
