This man transformed his beaten-up $4,500 hatchback with cheap products he found online.

YouTuber Hood Stig got an Audi RS4 from a car auction, and it wasn’t much to look at.

But he saw potential in the car and decided to give it a total makeover.

With super cheap parts sourced from Temu, he turned this hatchback into a real headturner.

A $4,500 hatchback gets a whole new look

When he first got his hands on the Audi, it wasn’t seen as much more than scrap.

Seeing a car be given a new lease on life is always nice. Unfortunately, some cars, like this 1972 Dodge Charger, had to wait decades before getting their much-needed restoration.

But when done right, a car’s revamping is always worth the wait.

The first thing Hood Stig did with his Audi was give it a brand new color, trading in the black body for a eye-catching yellow film.

A striking color can make all the difference for a car, just like it did for this Dodge Viper.

And it wasn’t just the outside that was getting a glow-up.

The whole interior got ‘ripped out’ and replaced with the luxury Rolls-Royce starlights.

He also put in an upgraded infotainment screen and a flat-bottom steering wheel with a carbon fiber cover.

In a video shared to his channel, he said ‘all those Temu parts absolutely transformed this car’.

“I was able to take this car to the next level and completely transform the Audi, and it cost a fraction of what it would’ve cost to buy a brand-new RS4,” he said.

“I didn’t even spend as much as I would have on a second-hand version.”

Temu is very popular among buyers looking to save a few bucks, whether it be on electronics or car accessories.

Hood Stig isn’t the first petrolhead to make a car using the site, as another YouTuber made use of it for his McLaren 675LT project.

How did the car look at the end of the process?

Hornet eye headlights were also added to the car – with yellow film going over the headlights and black film over the taillights.

All in all, he invested 1,000 hours in reviving the Audi over a seven month period.

And it was time well spent, as the car looked incredible at the end.

You would never have believed this was the same beaten-up car he started with.

And to top it off, he offered it up to his subscribers to win for a measly $10.

That’s a real bargain right there.
