A Ferrari is a dream car for many motor enthusiasts.

In fact, over half of the UK’s supercars are Ferraris.

YouTuber Sam – Samcrac, as he’s more commonly known – is no different to anyone else – he loves Ferrari.

They’re a solid supercar choice too – more than 90% of all Ferraris ever produced are still tearing up the road in mint condition.

But, when a fault occurs – let’s face it – they are not the cheapest to mend.

This one though, managed to be an exception.

Anything the Ferrari dealer can do, this guy can do better.

Over time, and with use, certain parts of certain cars can experience wear.

That goes for every car, from the Lada to the Lamborghini.

But, an expensive car is bound to have a big price tag attached when it comes to mending parts of the motor.

Parts can cost hundreds of dollars- but in this instance, our hero managed to secure them for just $325.

Hard graft and a good eye- he fixed the pump in no time

Taking matters into his own hands, unwilling to pay a hefty sum – this creator decided to fix the flaw with his own hands.

Samcrac got to work on mending his motor.

Using the Bosch parts that were identical to those from Ferrari, with a bit of hard graft, he managed to rid the car of the worn-out fuel pumps and install brand-spanking new ones.

He put a new the new pumps and additional parts of seals and collars into place – which was a job well done and a big sum saved – meaning his bank account was left laughing at the end.

And, it took mere minutes – what a win-win situation, right?

So, there you have it.

With a bit of research, skill and savviness you can save yourself money on mending your motor.

Ferrari might not see it that way, of course.
