This man was left baffled and asking for confirmation after spending 20 minutes looking for the logo on a car at the gas station.
He saw the bizarre looking orange supercar at a gas station and took to social media to ask the popular Reddit Forum, r/whatisthiscar for advice on what it could be.
It looked like it could possibly be a Lamborghini, but had parts that weren’t Lamborghini-specific – and it had a V12 engine in the back.
As a group, the members of the forum asked for further clarification and pictures. Between them, they decided what the car might be, and it ended up being a very surprising conclusion.

He spent 20 minutes looking for a logo
Have you ever been out and about and spotted a bizarre car you’ve never seen before and then spent the whole day thinking about it?
The Reddit forum r/whatisthiscar exists exactly for this reason.
It gives answers to people who see cars and can’t quite place them, and it’s full of people working together to try and identify vehicles around the world.
Reddit user Schro_A2 posted a series of pictures on the forum three days ago. They were asking for clarification on a particular auto they’d seen at a gas station. And spent 20 minutes successfully looking for the logo.
“It’s RWD, manual, has a LS in the front (probably a swap) and a 7.0L V12 in the back not hooked up to anything, as far as I can tell it’s actually a real engine, but not hooked up to anything, so confused,” the poster added.

The people of Reddit come together
Other forum members had a good look at the pictures, including the Lamborghini Aventador-branded motor.
Some commenters believed that it was an off-brand Lamborghini.
“That’s what you get when you order a Lamborghini off TEMU,” one posted
Another joked that it was ‘an Aventa-dont.’
Some commenters even slyly suggested it was maybe a Pegassi Zentorno, a Reaper, or a Tempesta. Gamers among you will know they’re all fake autos from the popular Grand Theft Auto video game.
“The key is from a Holden Commodore (southern hemisphere) or a Pontiac GTO (northern hemisphere) it’s a LS1 V8 engine,” one helpful poster concluded.
But it seems as though the people of the forum decided that the Pontiac GTO was the likely base. And that the motor wasn’t a real Lamborghini Aventador one, but a fake.
“Definitely not a real engine in the back, just an engine cover/intake/filters for show.,” one commenter explained.
It seems this mysterious car is a Pontiac GTO that’s been made to look like a Lamborghini Aventador, a sort of strange franken-vehicle.
What do you think? Lambo or not Lambo?
