In a new update from Mazda, the company recently introduced a new logo design.

The company filed a trademark for this new logo with the Japan Patent Office, revealing a sleeker, more modern ‘flying M’ badge.

This change is part of a broader trend where car manufacturers are shifting to simpler, two-dimensional designs.

Mazda to get a new logo soon

This isn’t the first time we have seen Mazda modifying its logo.

Over the years, the brand has refreshed its branding multiple times, with this being the 16th iteration.

The new design will be a bit cleaner with simpler lines.

Recently, Lamborghini also updated its logo for the first time in more than two decades.

Other brands that have recently changed their logos include Volkswagen and Nissan.

The shift to a flatter logo makes it look better with the growing technology in the cars, as two-dimensional logos are easier to display on screens.

The new logo might be for their electric cars

The new logo is likely to be featured on their future electric vehicles.

However, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt until Mazda confirms the news itself.

If it turns out to be true, we might see the new ‘flying M’ badge on the new Mazda MX-5, which is likely to hit the roads in 2026.

The Mazda Arata concept, which is expected to drop in 2025, might also feature the new logo.

Bentley also confirmed recently that they will feature a unique Bentley logo on their Bentayga S Black Edition.

So all Mazda is doing is staying relevant in a rapidly changing industry.

Now it’s just a waiting game to see which of Mazda’s cars will feature the fresh new logo. But one thing’s for sure – it’s going to be impressive, just like their vehicles.
