When you’re a car collector as famous as the Sultan of Brunei, servicing your cars can’t be an easy process… especially when you own thousands.
However, one of the Sultan’s vehicles appears to have been spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport in London recently and it isn’t just any old British motor, according to Instagram page @brunei_car_collection.
What you’re looking at here is the McLaren F1 GT.

Just 64 of these left the factory and the Sultan, Hassanal Bolkiah, owns at least one of them. It is said that this particular one is heading to the McLaren workshop in Woking for a restoration.
We’re not sure what sort of restoration work the F1 GT will be going in for, but we would assume it is either a touch-up or a complete respray.
The bodywork looks in good condition judging by these photos, but we can’t see what the vehicle looks like up close.
The Brunei royal family don’t just own one F1 either because that would be pointless.
No, they own at least seven of the things among millions of dollars of other vehicles.
