Football legend David Beckham has gifted an electric Jaguar to his son, Brooklyn, to mark his marriage to actress Nicola Peltz.
The aspiring chef, 23, wed 27-year-old Peltz, who is the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner.
They got hitched this weekend just gone at her family’s Palm Beach estate in Florida.
As a wedding present, Beckham gave the newlyweds a 1954 Jaguar XK140 open two-seater, which was fully restored and electrified by Lunaz, of which David is an investor.

The bespoke car was commissioned by Beckham himself and took thousands of hours of work by 120 staff at the car restoring company in Silverstone, UK.
It’s even been painted in a custom light blue, the name of which will be kept secret at Beckham’s request.
The XK140 has a light cream interior with its “dials and switches faithfully reflect the original Jaguar design but with subtle updates to provide information on the battery level and to operate contemporary functions”.
Prices start at £350,000 (about US$456,000) plus taxes, with the waiting list for next deliveries stretching until January 2024.
“In creating this beautiful, electrified Jaguar XK140, we are honoured to bridge the gap between David Beckham’s professional life, where he is an investor in Lunaz and his family life,” Lunaz founder and CEO David Lorenz said.
“This remarkable car is the perfect gift to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law, Nicola on their wedding day. In every respect, this extraordinary electric classic car by Lunaz symbolises a bright, positive future.”
Beckham announced his investment in Lunaz in June 2021.
In that time, the company has expanded its workforce by 200 percent and “soon to establish the UK’s largest remanufacturing and electrification facility adjacent to its current home on the Silverstone Technology Park”.
Peltz wore a white Valentino Haute Couture gown with a long train and lace veil for her special day, while the groom donned a custom Dior suit, according to British Vogue.
The happy couple shared series of photos from their wedding on Instagram, with Brooklyn declaring in one image caption: “Mr. & Mrs. Peltz Beckham.”
