A leaked video from the new ‘Mission: Impossible’ set shows Tom Cruise has still got it.

The actor was spotted in the skies of Oxfordshire, UK, on the set of the eighth installment.

He’s famous for doing most of his own stunts, and this one was no different, with Cruise seen hanging from the side of a yellow Stearman biplane.

Tom Cruise the stuntman

The eighth ‘Mission: Impossible’ was touted to be agent Ethan Hunt’s last mission, but Tom Cruise has gone on to say that he’d like to play the character into his 80s.

Given that the star is currently 62, that’s certainly time for a few more films.

When not tending to his car collection worth $50 million, Cruise spends his time taking his roles very seriously.

In 2023’s ‘Dead Reckoning’ he threw a whole train off a cliff and drove a motorbike off a cliff too, one of the most dangerous stunts in the history of cinema.

Cruise is a qualified aerobatic pilot, and even owns several aircraft IRL, including a P-51 Mustang.

And when he accepted the MTV Award for Best Performance in a Movie he did so in the air, piloting his WW2 fighter plane.

Spotted on set

Cruise was spotted in the sky flying over Oxfordshire in the United Kingdom.

He and Esai Morales, who plays Gabriel in the films, appeared to be grappling with each other aboard a yellow Stearman biplane.

The aircraft flipped upside down as Morales sat in the backseat and Cruise hung off the side.

Cruise didn’t have to put his license to use; the plane was manned by a crew member.

The pilot was, however, dressed all in green, which indicates he will be removed from the scene in post-production.

Cruise meanwhile was dressed in classic Ethan Hunt style: a plain white t-shirt and a brown leather jacket.

For everyone wanting to see this stunt without the blur of paparazzi lenses, you’ll have to wait until 25 May 2025.
