As well as a non-functional transmission, it’s covered in such a thick coat of dust that it’s completely unrecognizable.
In fact, its finish beneath is, at first, a total mystery.
However, a team of detailers and content creators are able to bring it back to its former glory in a seriously satisfying restoration.

The abandoned Chevy barn find
Discovered covered in barn dirt and debris, this Chevy 2500HD monster truck hasn’t been detailed in years.
Lifted 13 inches with 38-inch wheels, the barn find had been abandoned – and unwashed – for 12 years.
It’s covered in dust to the point of being unrecognizable and is entirely non-operational dueto a transmission issue to the point where they struggle to push it out of the barn.
The restoration process
The restoration begins by clearing debris from under the Chevy and giving the exterior a detailed pressure wash.
The team’s focus is on pressure-washing the body and meticulously cleaning the heavily dirt-caked wheels and undercarriage.
This satisfying wash is followed by a clay bar and polishing.
On the inside, the interior is vacuumed with the carpets removed, degreased to remove stains, and given a full detail including mold removal.
As a cherry on top, the team polishes the paint, cleans the chrome, dresses the tires, and seals the truck to make it truly shine.
Once it’s looking good, the WD Detailing team decides to repair the truck’s transmission and get it back on the road.
