Balenciaga and Balmain have just launched new collections and they prove the fashion world has gone mad.
From Balenciaga boots you wear as a handbag, to full-body suits that cover your face, 2022 fashion has taken a wild turn.
And we haven’t even mentioned the latest Yeezy drop from Kanye West yet.

Balenciaga Boots Bag
Let’s start with Balenciaga’s latest bag, which is shaped like a pair of boots.
There’s a huge market for bags and purses with weird shapes and that’s exactly the sort of trend that the Spanish brand is tapping in to.
After all, we’ve already seen the Balenciaga Trash Bag and the Louis Vuitton Paint Can Bag.
The company calls it ‘Le Cagole Boot Bag’ and it’s a massive bag made from ‘fusing’ together two high-heel, high-top boots.
Available in black or yellow, the bag is priced at $3,250.

Balmain x Pokémon
Moving on, we find one of the coolest collabs we’ve seen this year: Balmain x Pokémon.
The collection includes jackets, shirts, hoodies, pants, backpacks and the inevitable colorful sneakers.
It’s exclusively available at select Balmain stores.
In addition to that, those that play Pokémon UNITE can get early access to the collection through the platform.
Pricing hasn’t been revealed but you’re looking at four figures for each item in the collection.
Balenciaga x Yeezy x Gap
Last but not least, we have to talk about Balenciaga’s insane collab with Yeezy and GAP.
Under Kanye West’s creative direction, the three brands teamed up together to launch a provocative collection of odd and slightly terrifying-looking items.
The photos showcase distorted figures wearing improbable garments that look like they came straight from Blade Runner.
It looks mad but Kanye loves wearing weird stuff, as you can see in the picture below.
