The owner of this 2021 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 sent it off to a tuner in Texas and was returned an absolute beast.
The Californian-based Mr Wilkins owned the ‘super clean’, ‘bone-stock’ Camaro for three years and put only 24,120km (15,000 miles) on the clock.
Earlier this month, he decided to send it to the team at Late Model Racecraft in Texas.
And they worked their magic, turning the already powerful car into a real monster.

The Camaro ZL1 was already an impressive car
While some purists may disagree, there’s a lot to be said for a well-tuned car – take this wider, longer Porsche 911, for example, or this custom Ferrari Purosangue that’s been turned into an off-roader.
And over in Texas the guys at Late Model Racecraft, transformed this 2021 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 into the sort of beefed-up supercar any gearhead would be proud to have in their collection.
The Camaro ZL1 is an already impressive car – fitted with a more-powerful-than-most 6.2-liter V8 that can produce 650 horsepower and 650lb-ft of torque.
It can do 0-97km/h (0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 318km/h (198mph).
While most folks would be more than happy with that, Mr Wilkins wanted more power and more noise.
And that’s exactly what he got.
The car was given a serious power boost
The team from Late Model Racecraft gave the Chevrolet Camaro the ‘850HP Flex Fuel Performance Package’.
The package comes with a high-performance cam kit, new cold air intake, American Racing headers, pulleys, and lifters. They also overhauled the fuel system.
Following its tuning, the dyno showed a whopping 705.6 horsepower and 652.7lb-ft of torque.
In a clip shared on YouTube, Steven Fereday from Late Model Racecraft took the souped-up Camaro out for a test drive and the sound it makes really needs to be heard to be believed.
We’re sure Mr Wilkins will have a lot of fun with this monster.
