This American YouTuber was overjoyed when he found a dream car he had been searching for for the last three years-and it truly is the coolest car you’ve never seen, with the most unbelievable feature ever.
In the late 1990s, General Motors collaborated with Raytheon, a defense contractor, to build the coolest car in the world.
They created the 2000 Cadillac DTS which came with the never-seen-before feature of infrared night vision.
After years of searching, this YouTuber managed to track the coolest car down for an incredibly reasonable $4,200, but the real questions are: Will it run and will the night vision actually work?

The coolest car you’ve ever seen with the most unbelievable feature
Alex Palmeri is a YouTuber known as LegitStreetCars and he had been on the search for his dream car for many years.
After three thorough years of searching, Palmeri discovered his dream car on Facebook marketplace as a one-owner car with only 64,000 miles, and bought it for just $4,200 which was a bargain unlike anything he ever expected.
In the 1990’s there was collaboration between General Motors and Raytheon, a defense contractor and the coolest car ever was born, a 2000 Cadillac DTS with a never seen before feature: Infrared night vision.
There was no doubt in his mind that he had found a true gem and the car of his dreams, but the question about the cheap price being indicative of the car’s quality loomed overhead.
The never-seen-before feature can see at night
This 2000 Cadillac DTS was in surprisingly good shape when Alex arrived to excitedly pick up his new car, but he had a background worry that there would be issues as the car has a Northstar 4.6L V8, notorious for head gasket failures.
He also spotted a coolant leak, raising concerns about potential engine issues. Even though the car had been sitting for five years, the underside and body remained shockingly rust-free.
Palmeri did replace some parts like the fuel pump and rear air shocks, as well as some other components, and while he did that he marvelled at the luxuriousness of the interior and the pearl-white paint.

It then came the moment everyone was waiting for: the testing of the night-vision camera.
During a smooth drive, Palmeri puts the night-vision to the test and it works splendidly, giving us and his subscribers a fantastic demonstration.
It’s clear how pleased he was with his car and we think it’s the coolest car we’ve ever seen.
