Disney is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris with an Avengers Campus.
Built from scratch, it will have a new and ultra-sophisticated VR multiverse.
And it officially opens today.

There’s also an ‘analog’ version of the VR multiverse, with people dressed up in Marvel costumes, walking around the campus posing for selfies.
Slightly less glamorous, but still cool.
Fans will be able to dance-off with Star Lord and Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy and a 3D-enhanced Spider-Man experience where you shoot webs from their wrists.
And to top it all off there’s F.R.I.D.A.Y., the Artificial Intelligence designed by Tony Stark / Ironman that will help visitors navigate the campus by interacting with them.
Alongside all these modern, digital activities, visitors will also get the chance to have some good old fashioned fun with street food stalls, restaurants, burger joints, shops, and even hotels on location.
It will also be a museum, giving you the opportunity to visit the Stark factory, a faithful reproduction of Ironman’s HQ in the film, complete with all the suits Stark has used over the years.
About Marvel Avengers
The Avengers are a team of Marvel superheroes that first appeared in 1963.
The original Avengers only consisted of Iron Man, Ant-Man, the Hulk, Thor and the Wasp.
But Marvel has since added a variety of characters to the roster including some super popular ones like Quicksilver, Captain America, Captain Marvel and Black Panther.
About Disneyland Paris
First opened in 1992, Disneyland Paris is the largest Disney-themed park outside of the U.S. and one of the most popular with over 14 million visitors every year, as well as the most visited theme park in Europe.
It covers an area of 1,700 acres (700 hectares) with restaurants, parks, shops and hotels.
For reference, Disneyland Paris is actually three times larger than the Principality in Monaco.
