If you have a couple hundred million dollars lying around, then you can definitely afford the ‘Gordon Pointe’ estate, which is set to become the world’s most expensive property.
It’s located on a peninsula off the coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.
The estate can be found in Naples’ wealthy Port Royal neighborhood.
The mega estate has a rich history of notable guests including a famous US president.
Surrounding an area of 2,613,600 sq ft, the beachfront property is surrounded by luscious greenery.
It is worthy of being called the world’s most expensive property as it features three luxurious mansions.
These mansions include an 11,500 sq ft main house, a 5,500 sq ft home, and a 5,800 sq ft residence.
Other than the mansions, the property also includes three huge swimming pools and a massive yacht basin.
The waterfront private oasis, dubbed Gordon Pointe, is now up for sale for a potentially record-breaking $295 million.
If sold, it will surpass the previous record set by hedge fund billionaire, Ken Griffin.
The hedge fund billionaire currently holds the record for the most expensive property sale in US history.
In 2019, he bought a penthouse at 220 Central Park South, Manhattan for $240 million.
However, there’s a new contender on the block for the title of the most expensive property in the US.
The current owners of Gordon Pointe are family members of the late financier John Donahue and his wife, Rhodora.
The listing states, ”Gordon Pointe is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a private oasis located in the exclusive neighborhood of Port Royal which is the ultimate setting for creating a lifestyle of custom luxury.”
However, finding a buyer won’t be so easy.
A luxury penthouse in Monaco is also up for sale for $387 million but has yet to find any buyers.
Let’s wait and see which billionaire is willing to fork out $295 million for a waterfront house in the Sunshine State.
