There are a few perks to being the child of Gordon Ramsay.
One is that they’ve never experienced bad home cooking.
The other would be that they’re set to inherit an absolute fortune.
Except Ramsay doesn’t have plans to give his kids any of his money.

Gordon Ramsay rose to fame for his tough, no-nonsense personality.
In the kitchen, he’s a strict disciplinarian and an intense teacher who leads by example.
And his parenting style seems to be no different.
Ramsay holds all six of his kids to a high standard.
He wants them to grow up to be well-rounded individuals who know the value of money.
And Ramsay knows a thing or two about money, with a net worth of around $765 million.
The celebrity chef takes home about $112 million a year from multiple avenues including his Michelin-star restaurants, TV shows and book sales.
But he told the Telegraph that he doesn’t plan on leaving his wealth to his kids.
“It’s definitely not going to them, and that’s not in a mean way, it’s to not spoil them,” he said.
While his kids are still young, he’s sure not to let them get a taste of the high life.
When traveling, he and his wife sit in first class while their brood ride in economy.
Ramsay says this is his way of keeping them humble.
At home, their family uses a rota to evenly spread out the housework.
While his kids get pocket money, he makes them earn it through chores and taking care of their animals.
To ensure that none of them become nepo babies, Ramsay refuses to hire any of his children.
If they’d like to follow in his footsteps they’ll need to find another chef willing to train them.
He claims he didn’t get a leg up in the industry so they shouldn’t either.
But it’s not all bad being the child of this celebrity chef.
He has agreed to contribute to his kids’ apartments one day.
Not the full amount though, just 25% of the deposit.
This comes months after the chef was ridiculed for the story of how he bought his first apartment.
The poor guy had to sell his Porsche 911 to get enough cash for his deposit.
Hardly humble beginnings.
