Lamborghini Miura abandoned for 50 years explored
Mesmerized by its beauty, he decided to bid on the car and restore the long-forgotten treasure.
To grab the opportunity, he made his way to LA to explore the massive junkyard filled with thousands of old cars.
Among classic European vehicles, abandoned sports models, and piles of scattered car parts, he was on a mission to find this one-of-a-kind gem.
The junkyard wasn’t just a collection of rusting and rotting cars – some high-end models were surprisingly well-preserved in special garages.
One of these garages was dedicated entirely to three Lamborghini Miuras in different colors: green, red, and blue.
The green model, in particular, caught his eye. Even though it wasn’t in perfect shape, it wasn’t too far gone to restore.
The Lamborghini Miura, known as the world’s first supercar and designed by the famous Italian company Bertone, stood out in the entire lot.
The car has a chance for restoration
Despite resting in the junkyard for around 50 years, the green Miura had its engine, tires, and most other parts intact, making it the most complete of the three.
The restoration project, however, would come at a cost.
The estimated expenses for bringing the car back to life ranged from $800,000 to $1 million, while its purchase price was estimated to be between $500,000 and $700,000.
Despite the high costs, Tavarish saw its potential and decided to bid on it, determined to bring this legendary supercar back to its former glory.
