Samsung has provided all Olympic athletes competing in the Paris Games with a super exclusive special edition phone — a custom Galaxy Z Flip6.
Since Samsung is a worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, it is giving away its latest smartphone to athletes even before its official launch.
And it seems many people online really like how the custom Olympic Galaxy Z Flip6 looks.

Samsung made a special edition phone for the Olympics
The smartphone manufacturer has provided a super exclusive special edition Galaxy Z Flip6 to nearly all 17,000 athletes at the Paris 2024 Games.
The flip phone is one of the tech giant’s most expensive yet popular smartphones.
In addition, this super exclusive special edition smartphone comes with a unique design.
“It boasts the new Galaxy Z Flip6’s compact and versatile design, in a striking yellow colorway adorned with the Olympic rings and Paralympic agitos in gold,” according to Samsung’s website.
Each device also comes with an exclusive Flipsuit Case.
The case is also designed by Parisian Men’s Luxury Maison, Berluti, who designed Team France’s official outfits for the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony.
“Made from Venezia leather, each Flipsuit Case has a unique patina featuring a vibrant color mix inspired by the Olympic rings, celebrating the Olympic spirit and values of excellence and unity,” it added.
It’s not the first time we have seen a limited-edition Samsung smartphone, but it definitely stands out from the rest.
“The new Olympic Edition for Paris 2024 is the first-ever Olympic Edition to feature Galaxy AI. Designed to elevate the athletes’ Games-time experience from the moment they arrive in Paris, it is the first to come pre-loaded with a full suite of exclusive services and useful apps.”
Podium selfies
It’s also the first time that athletes will be able to use smartphones at the podiums.
“For the first time in Olympic and Paralympic Games history, Samsung will provide the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition for use on the podium at Paris 2024, so athletes can create their own memories and emotions via a new victory selfie,” further states its website.
All in all, Samsung’s marketing strategy is quite a great one for promoting its newest foldable smartphone.
