We’re in the midst of the Tesla Cybertruck craze.
Each and every time there’s a new sighting of a release candidate vehicle, the internet goes wild.
But a sighting over the weekend is by far the most unique yet.

Over the weekend, a guy spotted a Tesla Cybertruck release candidate and decided to pull over to take a closer look.
Doesn’t sound that crazy, especially considering there’s been tons of sightings of pre-production vehicles being reported across the U.S.
What makes this situation different to the rest, though, is the fact the guy was driving a DeLorean DMC-12 when he spotted the Cybertruck RC.
Not your average car, by any means, so of course he wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to grab some photos and a quick video.
Reddit user u/BladeBronson shared photos of his DeLorean parked alongside the Cybertruck on Sunday morning.
The pictures show off the forthcoming electric truck next to the vehicle made famous by the Back to the Future movies.
The sedan is dwarfed by the Cybertruck in almost every aspect.
Not only is it shorter in length, it’s narrower in width, and it’s lower in height.
That being said, they make a great pair with their classic steel exteriors and futuristic looks.
The Reddit post includes six photos of the Cybertruck and DeLorean parked side-by-side, including shots taken from the front, front corner, side, and rear.
There’s even a few photos including the DeLorean’s open “gull-wing door”, which can be likened to that of the falcon-wing doors on Tesla’s Model X.
The user even found time to capture a quick walkaround video of the vehicles, which you can see below.
Seeing the pair together reminds us of the Back to the Future remake featuring the Tesla Cybertruck created in 2020, made by the aptly named YouTube account Elon McFly.
Another Tesla fan even paid tribute to Back to the Future with a Model S app depicting the classic look of the DeLorean’s interior interface on October 21, 2015 – the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel to in the second film.
