Lando Norris is living his best life right now.

Not only does he drive one of the fastest race cars in the world, he has some of the best road cars off-track.

But if the truth be told, the young Brit isn’t exactly a fan.

Lando Norris is arguably the second-best driver based on current form.

The 24-year-old recently signed a new deal with McLaren to keep him in papaya beyond 2026.

Without a doubt, that deal will have come with a considerable pay-rise, thanks to the British talent’s seven podiums last season.

Norris gets a beautiful $358,000 McLaren 765LT company car thrown into the deal, too.

At the Silverstone Grand Prix last year, Norris was spotted in a $1 million McLaren Senna.

It’s understood he also owns a $444,000 Rolls-Royce Wraith and a $35,000 Fiat Jolly.

But despite boasting an enviable car collection, Lando Norris isn’t a fan of driving off-track.

“I hate it. I’m more scared on the road than I am in a race car, I’ve had it [people wanting to race me],” he said, speaking to That Peter Crouch Podcast.

“We were filming something and I was taking a kid to school and I had to go and pick him up from his house in the morning in a McLaren.

“So he’s sitting beside me, cameras everywhere, driving nicely, speed limit and there’s traffic lights, I’m in my race suit in public and I’m sitting there and someone clocks me on the side.

“I’m like, I have a kid here and a TV and I’m like ‘okay’ and I put down the window and say hello.

“And you can tell he’s thinking it [having a race]. I couldn’t, I have to act a certain way.

“You have those moments but you need to let them have their little bit – I beat him off the line too – just feel good [moments].”

It’s reported Lando Norris has bagged in excess of $40 million from his F1 career so far.

But despite owning a car collection worth in the region of $2.15 million, he’s found other ways to have fun, like his pool stunt that went viral.

One thing’s for certain, though, he hasn’t yet splashed his cash on a private jet.

Instead, he and Daniel Ricardo hitch rides with Max Verstappen to and from races onboard his Dassault Falcon 900EX.
