Denzel Washington is clearly a down-to-earth kind of guy.
Despite his massive net worth, he’s often pictured wearing a G-Shock Mudmaster, which is a $380 watch.
Denzel seems to love utilitarian, simple watches.
In The Equalizer franchise, his character Robert McCall (above) wears a $200 Suunto, which is halfway between a smartwatch and a G-Shock.
Ryan Gosling and his rare vintage Rolex
Ryan Gosling certainly knows his watches.
Among others, he also owns a rare and unique vintage Rolex Air King with a patina dial.
It is ‘less expensive’ than you might think, with an average price of $2,500.
Brad Pitt with a gold Vacheron Constantin
Brad Pitt has a long-standing partnership with Breitling but he also loves Vacheron Constantin, and he’s often spotted wearing this model, called 222, in yellow gold.
Founded in 1755, Vacheron Constantin is one of the oldest watch manufacturers in the world.
It is also part of the so-called ‘Holy Trinity‘ of Swiss watches, along with Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe.
Collectors call them that because of their centuries-old experience, and because they’re still relevant today.
And it shows – a watch like the one Brad Pitt wears will set you back around $88,000
Tom Cruise also owns a Vacheron
Like other famous actors, Tom Cruise is a huge fan of one of the world’s ‘sacred’ watch brands, Vacheron Constantin.
Tom Cruise is often spotted wearing a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar in white gold.
A watch like this goes for about $130,000 on the pre-owned market.
Not bad for a ‘daily beater’.
Leonardo DiCaprio with a ‘unicorn’ Patek

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of 170 lucky owners (most of them celebrity watch collectors) who managed to grab a Patek Philippe Nautilus with a Tiffany dial.
This watch is considered a ‘unicorn’ – a holy grail for collectors – because it is so difficult to find.
If you managed to get one at retail price, which is what DiCaprio did, it would’ve cost you around $52,000.
However, these days you’d be hard-pressed to find one under $2.8 million.
Talk about a sound investment.
