Shaquille O’Neal got his Cyberbeast thanks to a social media mishap involving LeBron James.
In a since-deleted post, an intern at Effortless Motors claimed the company had delivered a Bugatti to LeBron James.
The sports star publicly slammed the US dealership, accusing them of being ‘clout chasers’, which unintentionally put them on Shaq’s radar.
Through this Instagram blunder, Shaq discovered and bought his very own Cyberbeast.

How the Cyberbeast rolled into Shaq’s garage
This is not the first time Shaq has splashed out on a Cybertruck; he now owns two of the iconic Teslas.
He recently shared the story of how he acquired his latest one on the Effortless Motors podcast.
The dealership made a misleading post, claiming that LeBron James had bought a Bugatti from them.
Shaq hadn’t heard about Effortless Motors until James made a video calling them out, and he decided to give them a call.
During the video call, a sizeable Cyberbeast in the background caught his eye.
“I was like, ‘Hey, how much?'” Shaq said.
“And he gave me the deal of a lifetime.”
His Cyberbeast features a custom red under glow and a widebody kit, so Shaq can ride in both style and comfort.
What makes the Shaquille O’Neal car collection so unique
This is not the first time an unusual circumstance has led to the star making an extravagant purchase.
He once spent seven figures at a Rolls Royce dealership just because the sales assistant asked him an annoying question.
When it comes to choosing cars, Shaq has one major consideration to take into account: size.
The basketball star has a massive frame and needs his cars to match.
His garage features multiple customized cars, such as his Frankenstein Ferrari as well as the Lamborghini Gallardo he had modified to fit his 7-foot-1 height.
Thanks to the already massive frame of the Cyberbeast, however, Shaq fits into it as is.
