While $80,000,000 seems like a lot of money to spend, even on a Gulfstream G700 private jet, when time is money, the fact that it nears the speed of sound is invaluable for Jeff Bezos.

The second wealthiest man in the world – second only to Elon Musk – Bezos is proof that you need to speculate to accumulate.

Not only is it a business asset, but the Amazon mogul can also enjoy his time on board, with the new Gulfstream G700 boasting some serious comforts.

Let’s have a look.

The Gulfstream G700

Worth more than $192 billion – according to Forbes – this is the fourth private jet in the fleet belonging to Jeff Bezos.

That’s aside from Koru, a 417-foot vessel and the tallest sailing yacht in the world that set the billionaire owner back $500 million and costs a fortune to maintain.

Per reports, Jeff Bezos reportedly took delivery of the hyped new $80 million Gulfstream private jet last month.

It has already been spotted at an LA airport in the US.

The Gulfstream G700 is not your average private aircraft.

While all Gulfstream aircraft have a proven track record, this marks the beginning of a new era.

It’s one of the fairly recent launches from the manufacturer and tops just about most business jets.

You see, it maxes out and soars through the skies at Mach 0.925, which is almost the speed of sound.

The stunning interiors

Step aboard, and the award-winning interior features ‘the industry’s lowest cabin altitude, elegant finishes, and advanced cabin controls with tactile feedback.’

“All-new, handcrafted seats convert into ergonomic beds for exceptional comfort on ultralong-range flights,” says the website, with the ‘whisper-quiet cabin with 100 percent fresh, plasma-ionized air replenished every two to three minutes’.

A grand total of 20 panoramic oval windows – the largest in business aviation – offer sweeping views of the world below and abundant natural light when Bezos wants to get to business.

The private jet’s seats are hand-crafted and can be converted into ergonomic beds for ultralong-range flights – so Bezos can arrive refreshed and ready for anything.

Accommodating up to 13 guests and sleeping up to eight – his meetings don’t need to wait for touchdown.
