Japanese custom shop Liberty Walk has announced a massive new project with the Lamborghini Miura.

For those unfamiliar, Liberty Walk is a popular customization brand known for creating custom body kits that look as if they’re straight out of a Fast and Furious movie.

Usually, the brand is seen working on Nissan and Ferrari models.

However, this time they’ve turned their attention to one of the most iconic supercars ever made – the one and only Lamborghini Miura.

This car is like a good bottle of wine, the more it ages, the more valuable it becomes.

After all, it was the first supercar ever introduced.

And while the iconic sports car from Lamborghini is already rare with just 763 units ever made, the customization by Liberty Walk will make it all the more special.

Liberty Walk founder Wataru Kato shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting multiple pictures of the car in its current condition.

The Miura looks rough, with bare metal, rust spots, wiring, and signs of previous bodywork.

Many parts are missing, but the engine and transmission are still intact.

The odometer on the car shows 45,588 miles – which is pretty decent for the car’s age.

The customized car will be revealed next year

The company plans to give the car a complete makeover, potentially integrating its iconic design with their unique customizations – just as they did with their custom Ferrari F40 build.

Liberty Walk plans to have the car finished in time for the Tokyo Auto Salon 2025 next January.

Fans of the customization shop were ‘pumped’, saying they couldn’t wait for the end result.

“I love how you see the potential in such a beautiful machine and turn it into a beast,” one said.

If the Lamborghini Miura is anything like the widebody Ferrari F40 they created, it’s sure going to leave an impression.
