The low mileage Pontiac is always a good find.

In fact, this particular Pontiac is a pristine example of the legendary brand.

This unfortunately means thieves like it too.

This Pontiac owner learned that the hard way.

Pristine Pontiac: 1986 Parisienne Brougham

An eBay seller (steeda33) happens to be the owner of this particular, pristine Pontiac – a 1986 Parisienne Brougham.

This Brougham is extremely valuable, for a variety of reasons – mainly due to its mileage; it has just 24k original miles on the clock.

It has also been subjected to extensive maintenance and updates, including a full repaint.

Aside from the air conditioning, power seats and cruise control, this car also received a full tune-up, so this Pontiac runs as well as it did back in 1986.

That’s not even mentioning the 5.0 liter V8 factory Pontiac engine, which came with a four-barrel carburetor.

Pontiac Bandits: Thieves big fans of the car

Unfortunately, such a nice car comes with admirers of the wrong kind, too.

The owner, steeda33 on eBay, explained that unfortunately, the car was subjected to the wrong attention.

The car, which is based in Smithtown, New York, was stolen in 1990.

Thankfully, however, the car was actually returned one month later, to the great relief of its owner.

Naturally, however, this scare was enough to convince steeda33 to keep the car under lock and key.

Since it’s theft in 1990, the car has been locked in a garage for most of the time, only taken out occasionally.

Can you buy this Parisienne Brougham?

Yes, you can.

At the time of writing, the eBay listing for this Pontiac Parisienne Brougham has actually ended, as the reserve price was not met.

However, keep your eye out for this car going live again soon.

Bids start at around $12,000, whilst the last “Buy it Now” price was $16,995.

If you fancy yourself a classic 1986 Parisienne Brougham, then this car could well be for you.
