MrBeast divided the internet by tipping waitress with free car

The latest MrBeast stunt has caused mixed reactions across the internet.

The YouTuber is known for his over-the-top giveaways, surprising strangers with life-changing amounts of cash or outrageous gifts.

But some fans weren’t so sure about his most recent video where he tipped a waitress with an entire car.

MrBeast has been taking random acts of kindness to the next level for a while now.

Besides flashy giveaways, like the time he gave someone a private island, he’s also something of a philanthropist.

Last year he built 100 wells in Africa to provide safe and clean drinking water in rural areas.

His most recent gift was on a smaller scale, yet still really generous.

While eating at a restaurant, MrBeast gave his waitress, Amy, a whole lot more than the standard 20% tip.

He handed her a set of keys and invited her outside to look at what was now her new car.

The waitress was in shock, even tearing up at the gesture.

“I was literally late to work today because the Uber was slow,” Amy said.

“I’m in such shock right now; I don’t even know how to drive.”

The comments on the video the YouTuber posted about the event were mixed.

“I wouldn’t love driving around a Feastables-branded car,” one commenter said.

“The first thing that came to my mind after watching MrBeast tipping a car was how will she pay tax on it?” another asked.

Fans were quick to come to his defence, pointing out that the YouTuber always pays the tax for any expensive items he gifts.

Some of the comments accused MrBeast of using this as an advertising strategy, given that the car was covered in stickers for his chocolate company.

To clear his name, the YouTuber later posted unseen clips from the day where he clearly told Amy she was welcome to remove the stickers.

“Haters are trying to cancel MrBeast for no good reason; he’s a good person,” one commenter said.
