These Vietnamese men wowed the internet when he turned a $300 Toyota into a Ford Mustang GT 500 Sports Car.

YouTuber NHẾT TV gave their two million subscribers a look at his extraordinary creative process.

Make no mistake, these guys are no stranger to awesome creations – having previously made a Lamborghini Aventador out of old bicycles.

But even by that high bar, this is still some impressive work.

The unusual making of a Ford Mustang GT 500

When you think of a sports car being made, you’d imagine an assembly line in a factory with employees working diligently.

With the way the world is going, you might even imagine robots there, like in this Mercedes-Benz factory.

But when you have pure unadulterated car smarts, who needs a fancy factory?

In the video, the group started out by dismantling an old Toyota, leaving only the engine and the frame left.

When it comes time to start turning the car into a Mustang, they began designing the body out of a clay mold.

You read that right, a clay mold.

Admittedly, this same channel had sculpted a Bugatti Chiron out of that same material, so they have form for this sort of mechanical wizardry.

Maybe it’s the rest of us missing a trick by not making our dream cars at home.

As it stands, this car is still a work in progress.

The channel vowed that it would be complete before the year is out, so watch this space.

How the internet reacted to a seriously cool endeavour

As you might imagine, car enthusiasts were super impressed with the channel’s handiwork.

One viewer spoke for many when he commented: “The world’s leaders in mechanical engineering, give these guys a factory, they assemble elite cars in their garage.”

Another said: “This is exactly how the official car designers do. It’s amazing how they have little resources, yet they use it well to get the end product. Amazing, pure talent and extremely hard work.”

People can recognize talent, and these guys are ultra gifted in the car department.

To check out their process for yourselves, head over to the NHẾT TV YouTube channel.
