Ferrari-V12-table

This Ferrari V12 engine has been turned into a table and its price will blow your mind.

Up for auction with RM Sotheby’s, it’s expected to fetch up to $60,000.

That’s the same as the MRSP of a 2021 Chevrolet Corvette.

The table base is made out of a chromed Ferrari V12 engine fed by six twin Weber carburetors.

The engine’s 12 exhaust headers create four mounting points for the glass top.

The mountings can also be adjusted in height so you can set it up as a standing table or for a conventional seated arrangement.

It looks incredible, but for $60,000 you’d want it to be.

Turning car parts into home decor appears to be a growing trend.

Porsche 911 tailpipe soundbar

Just last month Porsche turned a 911 tailpipe into a $12,000 soundbar

The idea was masterminded by Porsche Design – the division that specializes in gadgets and accessories.

Officially known as the ‘911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro’, the massive soundbar was built using the exhaust system from a current-gen Porsche 911 992.

Oh, and remember the oversized speakers from Mercedes-AMG?

The audio system was made to look like the grille of an AMG – and it’s pretty spot on.

It features the car’s hood vents, iconic tailpipes and the rear diffuser.

Even though it’s made of carbon fiber, it’s extremely heavy for a speaker, tipping the scales at 15kg (33 lbs).

It’s also crazy expensive.

The Mercedes-AMG speakers, which were released in collaboration with iXOOST, are rumored to cost $30,000.

That’s the same price as a brand-new Toyota RAV4.

iPhone Rolex Daytona

Speaking of weird cross-over gadgets, this iPhone has a built-in Rolex Daytona.

Made by Caviar, a brand that specializes in crazy customizations for Apple products, the iPhone 14 has a real Cosmograph Daytona built into its shell.

And as you can imagine, it’s not cheap.

The iPhone Daytona will set you back $134,250.
