Mark Zuckerberg responds to Elon Musk over live stream claims and throws shade at X platform

We thought the Musk vs Zuckerberg fight was the stuff of movies, but this is looking more and more like a soap opera.

First, the two CEOs said they would fight each other in an MMA-style cage fight.

Then, Musk said the fight will live-stream on X.

And now Zuckerberg has decided to hit back at Musk.

Zuckerberg said he’s ready to fight right now, and he’s already suggested a date – August 26 – for the fight.

He’s also taunting Musk because Zuckerberg believes he’ll just keep procrastinating.

“Not holding my breath,” Zuckerberg said.

After that, the CEO of Meta decided to take it one step further and criticized Musk for choosing X to stream the fight.

Elon Musk said the fight will happen despite Musk’s mother’s concern, it’ll live-stream on X and the money will go to charity.

At which point, Zuckerberg immediately said it would be a better idea to switch to a different platform.

“Shouldn’t we use a different platform that can actually raise money for charity”, Zuckerberg said.

Ouch, that must hurt.

Musk said he’s working out every day and taking the challenge very seriously.

Mind you, people seem to think the bombastic CEO of Tesla doesn’t stand a chance against Zuckerberg, who recently earned a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu.

Online betting agency BetOnline.ag shared a tweet and the odds are largely against Musk.

According to BetOnline, the most likely outcome is Zuckerberg winning by submission.

By contrast, the least likely outcome is a draw, followed by Musk winning by submission.

If you look at the odds, it’s clear that any outcome where Musk wins is considered unlikely.

And any outcome where Zuckerberg wins is considered likely.

Well, we’ll find out soon enough.
