The weirdest, coolest 3-wheeler in the world has just been upgraded

The Slingshot is a retro-futuristic, Batmobile-looking three-wheeler made by Polaris and now there’s a new, improved model called the Signature LE.

The spectacular three-tone exterior combines black and red paint with matte bronze accents, and is of course fitted with matching 18 inch front and 20 inch rear wheels.

The open-air cabin looks a bit rough and bare but it does feature all the luxury amenities you’d reasonably expect, including a cool sound system, an infotainment system with built-in GPS and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

And check this, it’s also equipped with LED lights that can be synchronised to the music you’re playing on the radio or your phone.

It’s powered by a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engine, delivering 178 hp and 120 lb-ft with a 5-speed manual transmission.

If that’s not enough, you’ve got three options; you can either add 25 hp with the ‘Stage 1’ performance pack or you can get the older 203-hp R and SLR versions.

Pricing start at $34,999.
