Watch this mouldy Porsche that was left to rot get given a good wash

Porsche 928 detailed by AMMO NYC

If you’re like most people and you owned a car like a classic Porsche 928, it would likely be a prized possession you’d keep tucked away inside your warm, dry garage aside from on special occasions.

However, even impressive cars like Porsches can be left to rot away, just like the 928 you can see in the video below.

Left to brace the elements for 15 years sitting on someone’s driveway, it was in quite a state of disrepair by the end of it.

The Porsche was coated in mould inside and out, and littered with damage from mice as well.

However, detailing guru Larry Kosilla from AMMO NYC was there to save the day as he has so regularly proven he can in his recent videos giving barn-find vehicles a new lease on life.

Based in New York, Kosilla has been a detailer since the early 2000s.

His AMMO NYC car care product brand and YouTube channel of the same name launched a decade ago in 2012.

This Porsche 928 is one of the most exceptional turnarounds he’s managed, especially as one of Kosilla’s good friends spotted it in the previous owner’s driveway.

They spent six months negotiating to purchase it from them, making the process all the more personally fulfilling.

Managing to even shift stubborn mould baked into the paint, it’s no exaggeration to say he got it looking as good as the day it left the showroom.

Don’t just take my word for it, though – check out the video for yourself!
