This thrifty man spent just $15,000 on a yacht from Facebook Marketplace and set off on an adventure.
It might have seemed a bargain, but often if things are cheap, they are cheap for a reason.
The boat was 30 years old and he wanted to get it tested right away.
So, he put decided to put it to a proper test and used it to navigate some rather tricky waters.

After purchasing the boat on Facebook Marketplace, YouTuber Brandon Gross was eager to see what surprises it had in store for them.
So, he set off on his trip from coast to coast to really test the durability of his purchase.
He set off at 6am with the trip commencing from Hover Boat Ramp to Stiltsville.
Impressively, the round trip covered an incredible amount of distance from Florida to Bimini in the exotic Bahamas.
They set sail successfully, but the crew aboard soon needed to use manual navigation due to an error with the GPS.
The crew were then well on their merry way when they faced the next hurdle of the trip – a low-lying bridge.
After a tense time wondering if their Facebook bargain would make it through, they were successful in their jaunt, making it through the moment in one piece.
After the fiasco of the Bridge, they all stopped at Flagler Monument Island to take stock.
The island itself is a man-made success, named for the founder born in 1830.
After exploring the island, they were then faced with challenging waters and tried their best to get through it safely, and – against all odds – they eventually managed with their 30-year-old mode of transport.

But, building up an appetite whilst at sea meant they needed to use the boat’s grill, though they were left disappointed with the cooking system.
Their next heart-in-mouth moment happened after they tried to plot a course towards the open ocean and faced scary scenes.
The rugged waters threw the boat into the air, and – putting safety first – the ship was safely navigated towards a calmer patch of sea.
They then stopped at other spots on their adventure, including Nixon Sandbar before they eventually arrived at their desired destination – Stiltsville.
It’s fair to say, they weren’t disappointed by their end point.

Stilstville sits above where Biscayne Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean and is simply a group of wood stilt houses.
They then completed their journey back to Hover Boat Ramp with a happy crew in tow.
So, their thrifty little marketplace passed the rigorous water test, but would it survive an outing to the Bahamas and back?
That’s a story for another day.
