A UK-based YouTube explorer has revealed how he found an abandoned Ferrari F1 car while exploring a rundown farm.

The Bearded Explorer has made a YouTube career out of exploring derelict buildings.

And along the way, he’s seen a lot of cool abandoned cars – but this one you need to see.

Coming across an abandoned Ferrari F1 car

The Bearded Explorer, whose real name is Colin Smith, described the car as ‘potentially one of the most incredible things I’ve ever found on my channel’.

In the video, he paid a visit to a run-down farm in the English countryside.

Upon first arriving, there are old cars and trucks strewn around the place, including a Volkswagen.

There’s even an old fire engine and a police car tucked away.

At this point, it feels more like a film set than a farm.

But the best car on the property is hidden away on a trailer.

Once he pulls back the sheet to look inside, his excitement becomes palpable.

“My heart is going ten to the dozen,” he said.

“There is a Ferrari Formula One car in here…oh my god… this is incredible.”

Smith identified it as being from the 1990s.

Without question, the Ferrari has held up the best out of any cars on the grounds – mostly likely due it to being undercover.

This abandoned, rusted-out Ferrari F1 car was similarly brought back to life.

Why has this car been left on a farm?

Smith is as confused as his viewers likely are: “Why has it been left here?

“This farm is completely derelict, the building next to it completely derelict.

“And there’s a Ferrari Formula One car parked in…I cannot believe it, I really cannot believe it.”

Noticing that a nearby building looks as if it will fall on the trailer, Smith starts feeling sentimental.

He said: “This is really starting to upset me now because I don’t want anything to happen to this car.

“This is terrible.”

Closer inspection confirmed that the car is the real deal, as the gearbox and engine are still intact.

How this car came to be ditched on a rundown country farm remains a mystery.

The Bearded Explorer has previously spoken to Supercar Blondie about his favorite car finds – which happened to be extremely rare.
