This car collector thinks he’s gotten his hands on the world’s lowest-mileage Lamborghini Murcielago.
The Murcielago LP640 has been around for a while now, but this one has been on the road since 2007.
Well, we say it’s been on the road, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at the odometer.
In the last 17 years, this car has only driven 225 miles.

Could this be the lowest-mileage Lamborghini Murcielago ever?
Given that the car was still on its 2006 wheels, it could reasonably be described as a ‘brand new old car’.
Even in the realm of low-mileage cars, this Lambo is pretty exceptional.
By way of comparison, this 1974 Buick LeSabre which clocked in at 19,000 miles.
And that’s not forgetting the 1977 Corvette with 26,000 on the clock.
So compared with those figures, 225 is looking pretty paltry.
But here’s another way to think of it – over 17 years, that would be the equivalent of driving 13 miles a year.
That’s nothing.
YouTuber Mr JWW was lucky enough to lay claim to this rarely driven gem.
He planned to convert it from an E-gear to a manual transmission.
Finding a manual LP640 in the UK proved to be quite the challenge.
The YouTuber explained: “In California, we were quoted a million dollars for a manual LP640 with 55,000 miles on it.
“In the UK, there aren’t any.
“We’ve managed to get a box-fresh 2007 LP640 with 225 miles on it.”
What sort of condition was this car in?
As you might expect, this car is in pristine condition.
It even has that new car smell about it.
This is no bad thing at all, considering this Honda Acura NSX has left YouTubers gagging due to the mice inhabiting it.
As Mr JWW pointed out, the car barely used up a tank of gas in its lifetime.
When he took it for a quick spin around the parking lot of a dealer, he noticed some changes that would need to be implemented as soon as possible.
He remarked: “This makes a lot of beeping noises.
“It seemingly has the turning circle of an oil tanker.
“I think first port of a call is an exhaust for this thing, and then manual.”
Despite the issues, he was happy to have secured one in the UK and to have the opportunity to take it on a journey to becoming manual.
