An LA-based YouTuber has covered his supercar in 30,000 LEDs to make it the most distracting car on the road – and the Lamborghini Huracan will certainly turn heads.

Covering every inch of the supercar from the flared wheel arches to the roof, and the massive rear wing, the LEDs are operated by controllers that help them to blink in sync.

And it’s been labeled the ‘Las Vegas Sphere on wheels’ and ‘the sun on the road’.

Who was behind it?

The project was taken on by YouTube content creator, Alex Choi who’s best known for his online antics and twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Huracan.

He previously got attention for seeing how much his supercar could tow.

How did they modify the Lamborghini Huracan?

The YouTuber didn’t go into much detail about the setup or installation, but what we are told is that there are 10,24 LEDs per channel and a total of 32 channels.

The LEDs are so bright and distracting, even at 50-80 percent that Choi decides to call his lawyer to find out whether the Lamborghini Huracan is still road-legal.

And it certainly is as bright as the Las Vegas Sphere – while London is still waiting on its own Sphere worth $965m.

His lawyer reassures him that he ‘doesn’t know any vehicle code it’s breaking off the top of his head’ with the modification.

And that, even with the flashing red lights it would only amount to a fix-it ticket.

Even the weather is no match for the lights, which when confronted with rain merely need to be slapped to fix the problem.

The stunning results

The night videos showing Choi meeting with his friends in LA and doing donuts prove the team’s efforts were definitely worth it.

Looking forward, the Lamborghini Huracan successor is already in sight.

Claims by the supercar brand are that it’s ‘so much better’ than its successor.

We’ll see, but we have no reason to doubt them so far.
