The stretched 1994 Range Rover limo Classic LSE is as much of a spectacle on the roads as the famous names it’s been linked to, including the Sultan of Brunei and Mike Tyson.

Turns out the Franken-car was originally commissioned by the monarch for his brother, Prince Jefri in the 1990s.
Tyson was chauffeured by it in the year 2000 ahead of one of his most memorable fights.

The Sultan of Brunei commissioned the Range Rover limo
His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, commissioned the British firm Townley Cross Country Vehicles, to stretch the Range Rover by 40 inches.
It took nine months to complete, and the result, painted in Rolls-Royce Mason Black, is visually controversial.
The luxury inside was undisputed, however.
It was outfitted with business-class-style armchairs, a glass partition, two 8-inch TVs, and a VHS player. There’s also a custom interior of black-piped Oxblood Connolly hides.
The Mike Tyson connection
After the Sultan’s family had enough of the strange ride, the vehicle was owned by the Glasgow Car Company, which offered it for sale.
In 2000, the Range Rover was used to chauffeur another global celebrity, Mike Tyson, around Glasgow before his fight against Lou Savarese.
The memorable Scottish fight was the shortest match of Tyson’s career after he accidentally floored the referee.
In fact, it was called off just 38 seconds into the first round.
Its bizarre history continued after its ownership was transferred to a new owner in Denmark in January 2008.
After being sold in Denmark, the Range Rover limo came full circle. It returned to the UK to be restored to its original registration by Range Rover experts Bishop’s Heritage.
