An airport nightmare turned into a dream for Lil Wayne.
The rapper struggled to get through customs thanks to his incredibly expensive jewelry collection.
He was about to give up when a prince came to his rescue.
And he did more than just wave him through the airport gates.

Flying private has many perks, but skipping the customs queue isn’t one of them.
Lil Wayne took his private jet to Saudi Arabia a few years ago and ran into some trouble.
After getting off the plane, he put his bags through the x-ray machine.
The only trouble was they contained over $25,000 worth of jewelry, which should have been declared beforehand.
So Lil Wayne did what any celebrity would do in the situation: he got back on his private plane.
“I ain’t coming back; I don’t need to be here,” he told the airport officials.
While he cooled his jets on his jet he received a message sent on behalf of Mohamed Bin Salman.
It seems the Crown Prince must be a Wayniac, because he was very unhappy to hear about what had gone down at the airport.
He apologized profusely, and arranged for the rapper to move through customs without any further issues.
Once he arrived at his hotel room he found the Crown Prince himself waiting to meet him with a gift.
He had brought him a watch worth the value of the jewelry that had caused the trouble in the first place.
It was a Franck Muller watch, and Lil Wayne reckons it was worth way more than $25,000.
These timepieces are found in the watch collections of the likes of Ronaldo and can cost anywhere between $5,500 and hundreds of thousands of dollars.
And it’s unlikely the Crown Prince would have chosen the cheapest option.
That’s not where this gift-giving session ended.
As the prince turned to leave the hotel room he asked whether the rapper preferred Lamborghini or Ferrari.
A few weeks later, a black Lamborghini Urus appeared outside his house.
“I thought it was a general question,” said Lil Wayne.
“I thought he was asking me which one is better.”
