If you’re a fan of the HBO series Ballers, starring the inimitable Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, this $20 million mega-mansion in Los Angeles will likely seem familiar.
Indeed, 1 Bode Drive, which sits right at the top of the Hollywood Hills, served as the home of Johnson’s character Spencer Strasmore, a retired NFL player, in the fourth and final season of the show.

The property, which is fitting for a show so focused on opulence and excess, is a truly decadent property, featuring five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and sat on a 10,000-square-foot lot.
Boasting distinctly modernist styling, developer Michael Muller explained to Forbes the design “had to be all about glass, all about floating”.

Certainly, Muller’s vision can be seen, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, floating fireplace centerpieces, and stone floors and walls.
With a distinctly open-plan design, its living spaces flow between larger communal areas and more intimate spaces.
Unsurprisingly, given the location, there are stunning views from all rooms of the house.

Geometric chandeliers and plush leather couches furnish it throughout, while its kitchen features sleek cabinetry and double granite islands.
There’s also a drinks bar adjoining the main living areas, which extend outside with more areas to dine and relax, along with a pool overlooking LA.

From there, the gorgeous property is rounded off with a gym, double-storey walk-in wardrobe with a mezzanine and a three-car garage.
The property is currently listed at $19,990,000 so you’ll want to be a well-heeled fan if you’d like a piece of Ballers history.
