The Mercedes G400d
Images of Happy’s car recently surfaced on Automobili Ardent India’s Instagram page as the golden retriever celebrated his parents’ nuptials.
The Ambani family already uses several G63 AMG SUVs in their security convoy as well as having the G63 AMG in their fleet.
However, the Mercedes G400d is a diesel SUV and doesn’t quite fit the cars belonging to the human family members.
Launched earlier this year, the 400d is a replacement for the Mercedes G 350d.
The luxury SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre OM656, in-line six-cylinder diesel engine.
It’s capable of generating 330 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The SUV is available in an Adventure Edition with body elements giving the SUV a rugged look and an AMG Line – which is the one the billionaire golden retriever frequents.
It boasts a sliding sunroof, a Burmester sound system, 64 colors of ambient lighting, automatic climate control, and leather upholstery – perfect for keeping fur on the seats to a minimum.
Happy previously traveled in a Toyota Fortuner and a Toyota Vellfire.
The comment section under this post is quite interesting too. One of the users wrote, “400d-D for Dog,” another wrote, “Dude just said we’re poor in 400 ways!!”
Far from having a dog’s life, Happy is living it large.
