A Ford Mustang Mach-E owner has decided to keep his dearly beloved vehicle after it rapidly depreciated in value.
The owner had a stark crash back to reality when he saw just how much the car had gone down in value.
To buy new it costs a whopping $72,590.
But to buy two years on its value sits at a disappointing $31,000.

Ford Mustang Mach-E halved in price
The Ford Mustang Mach-E was once a gateway for car lovers looking to venture into owning an electric vehicle.
The Ford Mach-E GT model combined the powerful Mustang with the modern electric car.
Its powerful engine meant that it could reach 0-60mph in less than four seconds.
The standard battery has a power of 91.0 kWh battery and a range of 190-380 miles.
The depreciated car also held a warranty period of a mighty eight years alongside warranty mileage of 1000,000 miles – meaning you really were covered if something wasn’t running quite right within the vehicle.
Inside it was a sleek job well done, too.
The interior boasts a 15.5-inch touchscreen, spanning the front console for you to complete a number of tasks.
But, some aspects may not be top of your pro’s list.
For example, the battery has been known to drain quicker when driving at top speeds.
Slightly more powerful than the traditional Mach-E GT models, this car that was listed on Bring A Trailer has some impressive features.
It was ordered with the performance edition package
A panoramic black glass roof coupled with parking sensors meant driving in safely and in style was easy.
The power really was something, too.
The 91-kWh battery and 20-inch aluminum wheels with Pirelli P Zero Elect tires meant the vehicle could tear down highways at rapid speeds.
The 2023 model was purchased new by the owner and had 13,000 miles on the odometer.
But, despite its features, the owner decided to keep it for himself.
The highest bid on the car reached $31,000.
But, the owner noted on the listing explaining: “Thank you for the offer even after the time was up. After putting everything together, I believe it would be a big loss for me to part with her.
“So, I’ve decided to continue my adventures with her.”
