Gulfstream G700

Jeff Bezos has added the Gulfstream G700 to his growing collection.

The newest private jet on the market is said to be ‘the pinnacle of business aviation excellence’.

With the most spacious and flexible interior in business. aviation, you can design your cabin with up to five living areas.

These include the new ‘ultragalley’ and a grand suite with shower for the 5* experience in the sky for up to 13 people.

Passengers get handcrafted seats that convert into ergonomic beds for exceptional comfort on ultralong-range flights, while the flight deck benefits from advanced cabin controls with tactile feedback.

The pilot also benefits from Combined Vision System (CVS), shown on the dual head-up display, which increases pilot situational awareness and provides access to more airports.

Other key safety features include an award-winning Predictive Landing Performance System and a Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck featuring the safety of active control sidesticks.

Intuitive touch-screen avionics are paired with Phase-of-Flight intelligence, reducing both pilot workload and aircraft startup time.

The controversy

The plus side is that the Gulfstream G700 can cruise at Mach 0.90 to travel faster with exceptional range, up to 7,550nm translating to time saved and feeling fresher on arrival.

However, per JetSpy’s Jack Sweeney, the college student known for tracking Elon Musk and Taylor Swift’s aircraft, in just 39 days, it emits the same amount of CO2 as the average American would in 17 years.

Musk also owns two of its predecessor model, the Gulfstream G650, plus a smaller Pilatus PC-24.

The G700 was certified by the FAA in March, allowing it to transport passengers.

The first pair off the production line were delivered to Qatar Airways’ private jet division.

Elon Musk is also said to have one on order.

Bezos has already taken 28 flights since delivery, traveling to Ibiza to board his $500 million superyacht.
