Laying high on a hill above Chattanooga, Tennessee, this abandoned party mansion has been left alone for over 30 years.

Built by nightclub owner Billy Hull, the 5,600-square-foot property took 14 months to build.

It was finally completed in 1972 and featured luxury marble bathrooms, mirrored lounges, and a huge swimming pool alongside three large bedrooms.

Party mansion

In its heyday, the mansion held many soirées and parties.

There are also images of the property in its prime, featured in a trade magazine.

Sadly, just a few years after taking ownership of the party mansion, Hull was sentenced to 20 years in jail.

Unfortunately, the mansion was abandoned and eventually vandalized.

In a similar case, some explorers found a $10m abandoned mansion filled with luxury cars and designer shoes after their owners had to hurriedly leave the property, due to a tragic event.

Decades after its abandonment, in 2017, Leland Kent from Abandoned Southeast captured the dilapidated state of the property.

The images also showcase the former grandeur of the party mansion.

You can also see an iconic 20-by-40-foot Playboy pool standing out among the images.

However, its glory days are now over as it is covered in graffiti.

It seems like Mr Hull also had a clear vision for this property as the abandoned party mansion seems to have been inspired by Polynesian culture.

Vandalized and demolished

It is quite common to see abandoned properties like this, as even the $31m mansion from Batman Begins is now empty and falling apart.

Following the businessman’s imprisonment, the mansion was placed on the market.

However, the city seized the property, due to unpaid taxes by the owner.

Eventually, vandals severely damaged the party mansion in 2015, leading to its foreclosure.

Unfortunately, in September 2017, the city ultimately decided to demolish the property.
