A traveling couple from the US has turned a school bus into the most amazing western-themed home on wheels.

For this week’s incredible camper conversion, we’ll be taking a look at – The Bandit.

The Bandit is a converted International 1800 Thomas Built school bus made by a full-time traveling couple.

Meet Brooke and Kade Bandit, who despite being total beginners managed to convert an old school bus into a cool western-themed camper.

The project took about two and a half years to complete as the couple only worked on it during the weekends.

While we have also seen a man create an absurd school bus that could survive the Apocalypse, ‘The Bandit’ is still our personal favorite.

The entire camper also features a farmhouse/western theme with an impressive bullhorn on the vehicle’s hood.

Most of the interior of ‘The Bandit’ school bus is either hand-made by themselves or taken from Brooke’s family farm.

According to them, these elements remind them of family in their home away from home.

They have also installed numerous security measures in the converted school bus like security cameras and pepper spray above the door.

Hopefully, they will never have to use it.

Right next to their bed, they have also installed a solar-powered fridge that can run for weeks even with little sunshine, just like the Tesla solar-powered trailer.

The entire rig is powered by two 200 Ah lithium batteries, and a 60-amp solar charge controller connected to 800 W solar panels.

There’s also a motorcycle rack at the end of the bus to carry Kade’s bike.
