If you want off-roading with high speeds, look no further than this new off-road supercar

Sports cars and off-roading shenanigans usually don’t go together, but this new Ruf Rodeo that looks just like a classic Porsche 911 is here to give you the most legitimate off-road supercar experience.

The German automaker unveiled the car at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, and it didn’t fail to surprise enthusiasts.

Apart from the obvious modifications, the bright orange respray tops everything off in a pretty fulfilling package.

The Ruf Rodeo is an off-road supercar

Ruf originally unveiled the Rodeo as a concept back in 2020, but it’s now in production and has had its fair share of improvements since then.

Sports cars or supercars going on off-road adventures don’t usually end up well, especially for their owners.

These gearheads taking out their Aston Martin Vantage AMR on such an event is a prime example of that.

However, the Ruf Rodeo aims to change that, and you can now hit the rocky road in a sports car.

How does it do that, you ask?

The Rodeo comes with a suspension lift and off-road tires, so it can sail smoothly on harsh terrains.

What’s more, you get a turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine that sends out 610 horsepower.

Although that seems like a solid package, it’s not all the Rodeo has to offer.

Building upon the Porsche 911

The automaker switched out the entire exterior with carbon fiber, essentially reducing the car’s weight significantly.

As light as a Porsche 911 Dakar is, it’s still heavy for rough terrain.

Meanwhile, the Ruf Rodeo weighs less than 3,000 pounds — thanks to all that carbon fiber.

Inside, you’ll find leather — loads of it, actually.

The off-road beast adopted a ‘Western Americana Theme,’ and adding an all-leather interior is Ruf’s way of showing it.

All in all, the Rodeo is an ideal choice if you want a nice-looking ride that can handle most terrains.

It’s certainly better if you dislike large SUVs or pickups that come with off-road branding.
